Fresh, lively odor with clean scents of white pepper and delicate spices (gentian). The flavor is dry, pleasantly acidulous and lightly tannic with a characteristic slight bitter aftertaste. FOOD MATCHES: Because of its characteristic freshness, the wine makes a superb accompaniment for hot appetizers and introductory dishes in general, as well as delicate main-course preparations based on white meats.
